Here and Now

I woke up before my alarm went off, I was not as tired as I was, I did wake up for a while somewhere around 2am. But I went back to sleep talking to GOD. I prayed for Stephen and for my dogs. I am so grateful today that my parents have good health. My mom is not stressed.

6 Rebekah said to her son Jacob, “I heard your father speak to your brother Esau, 7 ‘Bring me game and prepare for me delicious food, that I may eat it and bless you before the Lord before I die.’ 8 Now therefore, my son, obey my voice as I command you. 9 Go to the flock and bring me two good young goats, so that I may prepare from them delicious food for your father, such as he loves. 10 And you shall bring it to your father to eat, so that he may bless you before he dies.” 11 But Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, “Behold, my brother Esau is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man. 12 Perhaps my father will feel me, and I shall seem to be mocking him and bring a curse upon myself and not a blessing.” 13 His mother said to him, “Let your curse be on me, my son; only obey my voice, and go, bring them to me.”

14 So he went and took them and brought them to his mother, and his mother prepared delicious food, such as his father loved. 15 Then Rebekah took the best garments of Esau her older son, which were with her in the house, and put them on Jacob her younger son. 16 And the skins of the young goats she put on his hands and on the smooth part of his neck. 17 And she put the delicious food and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.

18 So he went in to his father and said, “My father.” And he said, “Here I am. Who are you, my son?” 19 Jacob said to his father, “I am Esau your firstborn. I have done as you told me; now sit up and eat of my game, that your soul may bless me.” 20 But Isaac said to his son, “How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son?” He answered, “Because the Lord your God granted me success.”

Observation

Mothers in the Bible have created such an impact to the men and women who had great destinies. Mothers like Rebekah and Noami, Mary the mother of Jesus. If not for them these men and women would not have received all that GOD had planned for them. These mothers loved their sons and daughter in law, and the most special and unique is Naomi because Ruth was not even her daughter but her daughter in law. Yet she loved Ruth so much that she treated her as her own daughter and instructed her so that she could have a happy life, married with a child.

Application

In my life, it's the fathers who loved me because my mother has caused me a lot of pain but it's not her fault for doing so, it was her traumatic and painful past. I wish my mother loved me so much that she would help me get married just as Noami did. But I know that all the pain GOD allowed me to go through with my own mother HE will redeem it with my mother in law Benita and that is why I look forward to meeting her. But my father Joseph and Dad Dennis, they wanted me to get married to a good man Stephen, but if he is not the best for me, I pray to GOD that I will move on from him.

Dear AVI,

HOLY HOLY HOLY are YOU O LORD GOD Almighty!!! YOU have seen my tears O GOD and YOU love me through it all. I praise YOU O LORD GOD because YOUR love for me is deeper than anyone I could ever love, thank YOU for loving me though I cannot see YOU. Forgive me LORD for all the hurts I have caused YOU, causing me to feel so hurt right now when I love someone who doesn't love me, he serves me, but he doesn't love me. It is the most painful thing to love someone who doesn't love YOU back, who only serves YOU as "their love" but their heart and devotion is not YOU. YOUR Love is deep and YOU make me understand how much YOU love when YOU make me feel this kind of pain for Stephen. I cannot get out of the pain until he tells me himself that he does not feel the same way. It is the only way for me to move on, I am convinced dear GOD that I have to tell him this love of mine. My heart is burning within me and I pray that YOU will do something about my pain because YOUR will for me is to rejoice in YOU, please O GOD heal me from all my pain and lead me through my trials in victory because I want to be victorious in YOU. I pray that my husband will soon love me, he will come to me and love me, marry me because YOU have promised me a husband who will love me like YOU love me. I thank YOU for this man, whoever he is. I pray continually for the salvation and healing of Stephen and Benita, may YOU encounter them, reveal YOURSELF to them and even for the deliverance of Jannie Rose, Jenifer, Sandro, Carlo, Jonathan, Rosielyn and Sheryll Ordoyo and her family to know the truth about YOU. O GOD Almighty, let YOUR will be done always in my life and in the life of Stephen Lao Yu, and may YOU always lead him to YOU O GOD, that he will come to follow and devote himself to YOU for YOU O GOD are worthy of all our praise, love, devotion, honor and all thanksgiving belongs to YOU our GOD YOU deserve all the glory for YOU are worthy!
