Event: 7th Hanukkah Day, New Year Rest

Here and Now
Slept for 4 hours only from 3:20 and woke up 5:42 but I knew I still needed to rest so I went back to sleep until 7:45AM that I decided to get up. Hurting thoughts about Stephen come to mind, how he never said hi in Landers, but I was also hesitant to say Hi. It was my fault and if I failed, may GOD redeem my failures. I am trusting in GOD to redeem me from all my mistakes and wrongs.

SOAP

Torah: Parshat Vayigash, 4th Portion (Bereshit (Genesis) 45:28-46:7)

Genesis 45
New American Standard Bible
28 Then Israel said, “It is enough; my son Joseph is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.”

Genesis 46
Jacob Moves to Egypt
46 So Israel set out with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac. 2 And God spoke to Israel [a]in visions of the night and said, “Jacob, Jacob.” And he said, “Here I am.” 3 Then He said, “I am God, the God of your father; do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there. 4 I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also assuredly bring you up again; and Joseph will [b]close your eyes.”

5 Then Jacob left Beersheba, and the sons of Israel carried their father Jacob and their little ones and their wives in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him. 6 They also took their livestock and their possessions, which they had acquired in the land of Canaan, and came to Egypt, Jacob and all his [c]descendants with him: 7 his sons and his grandsons with him, his daughters and his granddaughters, and all his [d]descendants he brought with him to Egypt.

Scriptures
Genesis 1
Genesis 2:1-17
Matthew 1:1-25

Psalm 1
New American Standard Bible
BOOK 1
The Righteous and the Wicked Contrasted.
1 Blessed is the person who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,
Nor stand in the [a]path of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
2 But his delight is in the Law of the Lord,
And on His Law he meditates day and night.
3 He will be like a tree planted by [b]streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in its season,
And its [c]leaf does not wither;
And [d]in whatever he does, he prospers.
4 The wicked are not so,
But they are like chaff which the wind blows away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
6 For the Lord [e]knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the wicked will perish.

Observation
I wonder when the day I will say it is enough my husband is still alive, I will go to marry him until the LORD JESUS comes back for the both of us... I cannot see my husband alive in Stephen, he does not have the Spirit of GOD, the Spirit of love towards me. But we saw each other in Landers yesterday and we didn't say hi because I was unprepared with what I saw. I should have said hi! I should have, but I failed to do so... I failed and still even when the impossible thing happened yesterday where I crossed paths with a man I was not supposed to see this Hanukkah Season, I cross paths with Stephen.

Application
But I will not hope in him, he is not my hope, JESUS is! And last night, as I prayed for GOD's will to be done in my life, I prayed to marry the man GOD chose for me 2025, I know that many are praying for me, and I could not see that it is Stephen but I know I will marry the man GOD chose, I will marry an excellent  and amazing man who loves JESUS. I will put my hope in JESUS, HE is my hope and my expectation is of HIM. HE will do great things, just as HE has been doing great things in my life since I decided to come home to Cebu to follow him on 2010 February. I never thought I would be happy in my home, serving my family, but here I am hoping in JESUS, waiting on the LORD! Here I am! Even from all the heartbreak I have experienced, I am still hoping in HIM because I have brought the heartache to myself. But last night, I told Kim about my Hanukkah prayers and crossing paths with Stephen without saying hi. We were both dumbfounded... but she encouraged me with the story of Abraham and Isaac when Abraham had to surrender his son to GOD after he waited so long to have him. And from there I understood why I had to surrender this man, this man that GOD has been telling me will be mine. I am already letting go but seeing him yesterday made my heart cry. Still I killed my own heart, I surrender to the LORD because NOBODY is greater than HIM in my heart.

Prayers
Dear AVI,
I will continue to ask of YOU O GOD everything that I am desiring because YOU are a good good FATHER and YOU are faithful and true, YOU are awesome and great! YOU put them all in my heart and so I will ask everything from YOU. Today as we celebrate the last day of Hanukkah, may YOU show me YOUR glory and show up in power as YOU confirm YOUR promise and plan for me. Thank YOU JESUS, let YOUR will be done in my life! Thank YOU for loving me so much, may I always have a revelation and encounter of YOUR love and so will everyone that I pray for, may we always dwell in YOUR presence O GOD our GOD for YOU alone are worthy of all the glory, honor, power and praise!!!

In the Name of YESHUA Amen!
