Event
Dad's Rehab day at Asian Orthopedics, 6th Day Fast

Here and Now
Woke up late, was tired, dreamt of Zvika the whole time and that I was with him as his girlfriend or something, but I was not happy with that dream, I'm not going back to a very carnal man who doesn't have GOD. What a weird dream! I wondered if it symbolized present Israel as a majority. I'm still broken over the fact that GOD has told me something on September 20 2023 and it has not fulfilled it. I am still trying to move on from my disappointment and dismay from this broken promise.

Scriptures

Torah: Parshat Bo, 6th Portion (Shemot (Exodus) 12:29-12:51)

Exodus 12:29-51
English Standard Version
The Tenth Plague: Death of the Firstborn
29 At midnight the Lord struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of the livestock. 30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he and all his servants and all the Egyptians. And there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where someone was not dead. 31 Then he summoned Moses and Aaron by night and said, “Up, go out from among my people, both you and the people of Israel; and go, serve the Lord, as you have said. 32 Take your flocks and your herds, as you have said, and be gone, and bless me also!”
The Exodus
33 The Egyptians were urgent with the people to send them out of the land in haste. For they said, “We shall all be dead.” 34 So the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneading bowls being bound up in their cloaks on their shoulders. 35 The people of Israel had also done as Moses told them, for they had asked the Egyptians for silver and gold jewelry and for clothing. 36 And the Lord had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. Thus they plundered the Egyptians.
37 And the people of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides women and children. 38 A mixed multitude also went up with them, and very much livestock, both flocks and herds. 39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough that they had brought out of Egypt, for it was not leavened, because they were thrust out of Egypt and could not wait, nor had they prepared any provisions for themselves.
40 The time that the people of Israel lived in Egypt was 430 years. 41 At the end of 430 years, on that very day, all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. 42 It was a night of watching by the Lord, to bring them out of the land of Egypt; so this same night is a night of watching kept to the Lord by all the people of Israel throughout their generations.
Institution of the Passover
43 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “This is the statute of the Passover: no foreigner shall eat of it, 44 but every slave[a] that is bought for money may eat of it after you have circumcised him. 45 No foreigner or hired worker may eat of it. 46 It shall be eaten in one house; you shall not take any of the flesh outside the house, and you shall not break any of its bones. 47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. 48 If a stranger shall sojourn with you and would keep the Passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised. Then he may come near and keep it; he shall be as a native of the land. But no uncircumcised person shall eat of it. 49 There shall be one law for the native and for the stranger who sojourns among you.”
50 All the people of Israel did just as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron. 51 And on that very day the Lord brought the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.

Last Night's Reading
Exodus 38-40
GOD has repeated in Exodus the same instructions for HIS Tabernacle, and I know that when I repeat something, it means it's very important to me. But as I read it, I could not picture it out in my mind because I am not keen to visualizing concrete things that relate to buildings.

Bible in A Year
Job 19 - Job 21; Matthew 21:1-17; Psalm 18:1-6

Job 19
23 “Oh that my words were written! Oh that they were inscribed in a book!
24 Oh that with an iron pen and lead  they were engraved in the rock forever!
25 For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth.[b]
26 And after my skin has been thus destroyed, yet in[c] my flesh I shall see God,
27 whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another.
My heart faints within me!
28 If you say, ‘How we will pursue him!’ and, ‘The root of the matter is found in him,’[d]
29 be afraid of the sword, for wrath brings the punishment of the sword, that you may know there is a judgment.”

Job 20
8 He will fly away like a dream and not be found;
he will be chased away like a vision of the night.
9 The eye that saw him will see him no more,
nor will his place any more behold him.

Job 21

Matthew 21:1-17

English Standard Version
The Triumphal Entry
21 Now when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go into the village in front of you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3 If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and he will send them at once.” 4 This took place to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet, saying,
5 “Say to the daughter of Zion,
‘Behold, your king is coming to you,
humble, and mounted on a donkey,
on a colt,[a] the foal of a beast of burden.’”

6 The disciples went and did as Jesus had directed them. 7 They brought the donkey and the colt and put on them their cloaks, and he sat on them. 8 Most of the crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9 And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!” 10 And when he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up, saying, “Who is this?” 11 And the crowds said, “This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee.”
Jesus Cleanses the Temple
12 And Jesus entered the temple[b] and drove out all who sold and bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons. 13 He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you make it a den of robbers.”
14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them. 15 But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying out in the temple, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” they were indignant, 16 and they said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” And Jesus said to them, “Yes; have you never read,
“‘Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies
you have prepared praise’?”
17 And leaving them, he went out of the city to Bethany and lodged there.

Psalm 18:1-6
English Standard Version
The Lord Is My Rock and My Fortress
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David, the servant of the Lord, who addressed the words of this song to the Lord on the day when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. He said:
1 I love you, O Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
3 I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.
4 The cords of death encompassed me; the torrents of destruction assailed me;[a]

5 the cords of Sheol entangled me; the snares of death confronted me.
6 In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I cried for help.
From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.

Observation
I have observed that JESUS when HE entered Jerusalem as humble as HE rode only on a donkey, was praised by HIS People because some of HIS people recognized HIM as not an ordinary human being, but as soon as HE entered the City, the first thing HE did was cleanse the Temple by driving out the traders inside of it in HIS anger and Passion for  the House of GOD to be in it's rightful state of being a temple that is HOLY to GOD.

Application
I am clinging to the WORD in Matthew 21 "Say to the daughter of Zion Behold! Your King is coming to you! I have clung to this WORD for the longest time now and I have not seen it happen. I have felt so disappointed for the many times in the past that GOD has given me this word and it has remained a Promise. When are my Kings coming to me? I know that the human King will come first, and then the King of Kings will come for us. But I have felt so defeated in GOD's promises as I keep waiting for it. May the LORD give me the ability to endure as I am praying for my father's endurance to be long as he also waits for his healing miracle to take place. I will keep loving the LORD, I will keep waiting for HIM for I have no other way that I should go, I have no other option but to wait because I believe HE will not fail me, HE will fulfill HIS promises to me beyond my wildest imagination.
