The Bronze Altar
1 “You shall make the altar of acacia wood,
five cubits[a] long and five cubits broad. The altar
shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits. 2 And
you shall make horns for it on its four corners; its horns shall be of one
piece with it, and you shall overlay it with bronze. 3 You
shall make pots for it to receive its ashes, and shovels and basins
and forks and fire pans. You shall make all its utensils of bronze. 4 You
shall also make for it a grating, a network of bronze, and on the net you shall
make four bronze rings at its four corners. 5 And
you shall set it under the ledge of the altar so that the net extends halfway
down the altar. 6 And you shall make poles for the
altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with bronze. 7 And
the poles shall be put through the rings, so that the poles are on the two
sides of the altar when it is carried. 8 You shall
make it hollow, with boards. As it has been shown you on the mountain, so
shall it be made.

Let the Children Come to Me
13 And they were bringing children to
him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. 14 But
when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children
come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. 15 Truly,
I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child
shall not enter it.” 16 And he took them
in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.
The Rich Young Man
17 And as he was setting out on his
journey, a man ran up and knelt before him and asked him, “Good Teacher,
what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 18 And
Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God
alone. 19 You know the commandments: ‘Do not
murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not
defraud, Honor your father and mother.’” 20 And he
said to him, “Teacher, all these I have kept from my youth.” 21 And
Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “You lack one
thing: go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will
have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” 22 Disheartened
by the saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
23 And Jesus looked around and
said to his disciples, “How difficult it will be for those who have wealth
to enter the kingdom of God!” 24 And the
disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said to them again, “Children, how
difficult it is[a] to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It
is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person
to enter the kingdom of God.” 26 And they were
exceedingly astonished, and said to him,[b] “Then who can be saved?” 27 Jesus looked
at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all
things are possible with God.” 28 Peter began
to say to him, “See, we have left everything and followed you.” 29 Jesus
said, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or
brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake
and for the gospel, 30 who will not receive a
hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers
and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the age to come
eternal life. 31 But many who are first will
be last, and the last first.”
English Standard Version
7 Hear, O Lord, when I
cry aloud;
be gracious to me and answer me!
8 You have said, “Seek[a] my face.”
My heart says to you,
“Your face, Lord, do I seek.”[b]
9 Hide not your face from me.
Turn not your servant away in anger,
O you who have been my help.
Cast me not off; forsake me not,
O God of my salvation!
10 For my father and my mother have forsaken me,
but the Lord will take me in.
11 Teach me your way,
O Lord,
and lead me on a level path
because of my enemies.
12 Give me not up to the will of my adversaries;
for false witnesses have risen against me,
and they breathe out violence.
13 I believe that I shall
look[c] upon the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living!
14 Wait for the Lord;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the Lord!
Observation
Those who do not believe GOD and receive HIS gospel like a
little child will not be able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven! Why? Because faith
is not as simple as it is, at least for humans because faith requires letting
go and surrendering all things to GOD who wants to lead us to HIS perfect will.
Faith is not just believing, but acting in accordance to what one believes. It
is a daily act of constant and consistent communication and communion with GOD,
because without this relationship, we easily drift away from what we first
believed and so whatever we believe, we live on it. Our faith or whatever we
believe in, right or wrong, directs our decision making and our paths. It takes
a lot of love for GOD to forsake our human needs and put GOD first before
ourselves. But GOD is ever loving and trustworthy and HE is a good FATHER who
calls those who believe HIS children and we become heirs to an inheritance
greater than we could ever work for.
Application
I am so blessed to be GOD’s because I see the human
insecurity and I feel it everyone around me, I know I ought to be insecure by
the age I have right now and still not able to achieve what I already ought to
be – a loving wife and mother caring for her family, instead GOD has given me Aunts
to care for everytime we are together and I have become the hands and heart of
GOD to them, praying that they see GOD more than they see me, that in every act
of kindness they will see the GOD who
loves them. Today In this trip, I don’t feel insecure, I feel secure in the
love of the FATHER because HE has given me the grace and faith, the endurance,
the trust to wait on HIM because HE is preparing the very best for me. HE is taking
hold of my heart and mind and letting me think not as a regular human being
thinks. He is taking control of me and I love it because there is no other way for me to live than to live in HIS will.
Prayers
Dear AVI,
HOLY HOLY HOLY are YOU O LORD GOD KING of the Universe,
Sovereign over all powerful and in great full control over human mind and soul,
over all things YOU have created because everything was in deed made by YOU but
I am thankful O LORD that YOU have made me YOURS and have secured me like no
human could ever feel the security of any family, organization, wealth or
power. I pray and thank YOU for the healing of Dad and Mom, I thank YOU for
covering them and watching over all of us. I thank YOU that YOUR love surrounds
all of us like a shield. I thank YOU for the contentment that I feel right now,
I thank YOU for the trust YOU have given me to YOU that all things will always
work out for the good for those YOU call to be YOUR children and love YOU. I
pray for the blood of JESUS to constantly cover my family, wherever they are,
wherever we go, I pray for every animal I care for to always be happy and
blessed by YOU. I pray for every soul I
lift up to YOU: Janie Rose, Mark, Erwin and Leah Pios, to know YOU, to love
YOU, to be saved and delivered by YOU. I pray for my church to experience YOU from
glory to glory. I pray for my husband to be so secure and loved by YOU, to
stand on the promises YOU have given us to raise a family even in old age and
to be effective and productive Saints in this Age and the Age to come, so that
we could show YOUR glory and power to the world for YOU O LORD are worthy of
all honor, power, worship and highest devotion humans could ever give. Please
bless me with YOUR presence and revelation, YOUR shekinah glory crown me and
surround me like a shield. Please bless my stomach and keep us healthy in this
trip and be glorified over us always.
In the Name of YESHUA Amen!
