The Golden Lampstand

³¹ “You shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand shall be made of hammered work: its base, its stem, its cups, its calyxes, and its flowers shall be of one piece with it. ³² And there shall be six branches going out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side of it; ³³ three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on one branch, and three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on the other branch—so for the six branches going out of the lampstand. ³⁴ And on the lampstand itself there shall be four cups made like almond blossoms, with their calyxes and flowers, ³⁵ and a calyx of one piece with it under each pair of the six branches going out from the lampstand. ³⁶ Their calyxes and their branches shall be of one piece with it, the whole of it a single piece of hammered work of pure gold. ³⁷ You shall make seven lamps for it. And the lamps shall be set up so as to give light on the space in front of it. ³⁸ Its tongs and their trays shall be of pure gold. ³⁹ It shall be made, with all these utensils, out of a talent^[a] of pure gold. ⁴⁰ And see that you make them after the pattern for them, which is being shown you on the mountain.

The Tabernacle

26 “Moreover, you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen and blue and purple and scarlet yarns; you shall make them with cherubim skillfully worked into them. ² The length of each curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits,^[b] and the breadth of each curtain four cubits; all the curtains shall be the same size. ³ Five curtains shall be coupled to one another, and the other five curtains shall be coupled to one another. ⁴ And you shall make loops of blue on the edge of the outermost curtain in the first set. Likewise you shall make loops on the edge of the outermost curtain in the second set. ⁵ Fifty loops you shall make on the one curtain, and fifty loops you shall make on the edge of the curtain that is in the second set; the loops shall be opposite one another. ⁶ And you shall make fifty clasps of gold, and couple the curtains one to the other with the clasps, so that the tabernacle may be a single whole.

⁷ “You shall also make curtains of goats' hair for a tent over the tabernacle; eleven curtains shall you make. ⁸ The length of each curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits. The eleven curtains shall be the same size. ⁹ You shall couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and the sixth curtain you shall double over at the front of the tent. ¹⁰ You shall make fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is outermost in one set, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is outermost in the second set.

¹¹ “You shall make fifty clasps of bronze, and put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together that it may be a single whole. ¹² And the part that remains of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the back of the tabernacle. ¹³ And the extra that remains in the length of the curtains, the cubit on the one side, and the cubit on the other side, shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle, on this side and that side, to cover it. ¹⁴ And you shall make for the tent a covering of tanned rams' skins^[c] and a covering of goatskins on top.

Observation

Exodus: They made bases and pillars for the Temple and its parts

Mark 8: I have to be bolder in speaking about GOD towards unbelieving people around me. I have prayed last night to take away any more feelings I have for Stephen because I had sinned greatly against GOD when I loved Stephen before he surrendered his life to JESUS. It was my mistake and I have repented now I am asking GOD to redeem me from my faults, so that HE could use me effectively again. I want to be one of those in Mark 9:1 who will not taste death until I see the Kingdom of GOD come with power because I am standing firmly in JESUS and HIS words.

Proverbs is teaching me not to be the savior of people especially the poor people by trying to lend money to those who are trying to borrow from me or to put up security for a neighbor because GOD is the only security people should run to, not other people. It is also teaching me to work and be diligent lest poverty strikes me, because sleep makes one poor.

Application:

I will guard my heart and soul from the lies of the enemy and the lies of my heart, I will guard my heart from making man my security because only GOD could ever make me secure, not family, not a husband, not riches or health but only GOD could make my heart secure. I want GOD to my be sure foundation, my consistently and living hope that I have everything that I will ever need and want because JESUS is my Shepherd therefore HE makes me whole, and I am Shalom because JESUS lives in me.

Prayers:

Dear AVI,

HOLY HOLY HOLY are YOU LORD GOD King of the Universe! Thank You for bringing me to Vietnam safely even as I traveled alone. Thank YOU for YOUR loving hands wrapped around my family and I. Thank YOU for this enabling Dad Dennis to fast and pray and meet with YOU, I believe LORD HIS breakthrough is now because YOU are meeting him and revealing YOURSELF to him in a deeper and profound way. O GOD thank YOU for his healing and for making his legs strong again so that YOU could climb on a mountain like a deer with hinds feet. Thank YOU that YOU are speaking to him even right now reminding him of the WORD YOU gave me for him in Psalms 18. Thank YOU that as I pray, I am sitting comfortably in the dinning room watching the beautiful mountains of Vietnam on a cruise boat. I am so blessed but LORD do not let this blessing make me lazy so that it becomes a curse. I pray that while on this trip that YOU will speak to me regarding what YOU want me to do this year, that YOU will make me wise and strong and that YOU will guide me through what YOU want to do with my parents wealth in the last days. I ask YOU that YOU charge YOUR angels to protect my family back home, keep them safe, even from one another, that YOU comfort my dogs and tell them I am coming home shortly, that YOU keep everyone in good health, and that the helpers will bring help to my parents, and the workers do their work without too much supervision and that everyone in the house or my company is happily doing the work that YOU have blessed them with. I pray for Mom give her wisdom and understanding, supernatural grace to care for my father and that people will continue to pray for Dad Dennis as YOU restore him not only physically but spiritually and mentally as well because Dad needs shalom, he can only have it through YOU! Thank YOU for my father and mother’s breakthrough and that YOU are doing whatever YOU want to do with each one of us. I pray for humility for my sister and that she will just continue to seek YOU in all things. I pray O GOD, help us to keep trusting YOU even in the hard times and let YOUR miraculous work be evident in each one’s life O GOD. I pray that YOU do no allow the enemy to prosper against us but that YOU will always be the center of our hearts and minds, and lives. O GOD, I long to hear YOUR  voice, even though I have started to eat breakfast, something I have not done in the longest time. I Pray that YOU will all the more make YOURSELF known to me in ways I cannot imagine. I pray to hear YOUR voice and that YOU will just fill my heart once again with peace and gladness, even as I am not married, I am married to YOU and I will always be YOUR bride O GOD so help me to live for YOU and keep us blameless O GOD, guard our paths, and keep us in the center of YOUR loving arms and will. I pray for the encounter of Janie Rose and Mark, that they will encounter YOU and be saved by YOU, and deliver them from all their sins, and bondages, I pray that YOU save and bless Leah Chan and husband Erwin Pios, that they YOU bless them with favor to acquire the Pajo house for themselves. I pray O GOD, reveal YOUR good and perfect will to me and help me to follow it completely. I thank YOU GOD for my husband whom YOU are giving me more than what I could ever ask or imagine, thank YOU for preparing his family and mine for us to be married and that YOU reveal YOUR will to us O GOD and lead us consistently in all that we do, lead us and speak to  us and help us to always obey and follow YOU because YOU deserve all the glory and the honor and praises!!!
